wireless charging technology, how does it works?

The theory which is used in Transformers.

 There is a circular coil in charges pod which generate magnetic flux lines.

There is another circular coil in a mobile phone when the incoming flux lines are cut by the circular coil in mobile then an electromotive force is generated which is responsible for the electricity flow.

Hence the electricity comes in your mobile phone wirelessly. it is possible only when you keep the pod and mobile phone together.

The long range is not possible yet.
